I had a search on Google and cannot find a picture identical to the clamp you have, but have see pictures of very similar clamps. It seems what you have is an external miter clamp, used mainly by picture framers. You can see some similar clamps on this site. https://www.carbatec.com.au/clamping-vices-and-workholding/speciality-clamps?PageProduct=1&PageSizeProduct=24
I agree with the other comments. This looks like a miter clamp for picture frames. However, I can not find any image that looks like what you've got. I hope somebody knows, I've spent way too much time on this already. Good luck.
It's only a set of pictures of un-declassified objects coming from somewhere outta space, stolen around the 51 area, maybe some pieces of sattelites junks.
Wood clamp, mostly used when gluing wood together, holds 2 pieces in place until the glue sets.

ReplyDeleteDo you have a weblink so i can see the wood clamp?

Chris,
ReplyDeleteIs there any kind of name on the clamp? Or any indication if it's for wood or metal?
Hi. No indication at all. The material is aluminium.

Looks like a miter clamp.
ReplyDeleteSaw some fairly similar things under 'box clamp'. Maybe that's a direction to look.

It's actually a hair clamp, used by Donald Trump to hold his hair in place while he sprays it with cellulose varsh.
